Time capsule: beer beer beer:
Cleaning out the attic found a bunch of letters including this postcard from "JOT & Curt" mit luftpost to me circa 1974. How many times can one mention the word "beer" in one postcard?

Sittin' at a bar in Weirzburg, Germany, drinking semi-cool bier. Besides thank you, all else I can say in German is "one beer." I do know lots of sign language tho.. The last place we tried to hitch, we stayed there for 24 hrs. It wasn't as bad as it sounds, as we took to the woods to camp after about two hours of hitching in the same place, drank beer that night & got up at 11 A.M. next day and started hitching again. The daily rain came so we decided to catch the 6:00 P.M. bus to here. Killed the rest of the time waiting for the bus drinking beer and warming up in a beer joint. Reading back it makes little sense so I'll explain when I get back.
